About us

 The Jawaharpur Sugar Unit was commissioned in January 2007 in the District Sitapur of Uttar Pradesh. Built over 125 acres, the plant is located 14 km from the district headquarters on the Sitapur-Hardoi Road in Jawaharpur (RAMKOT) village.


It has a cane crushing capacity of 7500 TCD and a cogeneration capacity of 27MW. The company set up its first distillery with a capacity of 80 KLPD to utilise Molasses generated from sugar production for Ethanol manufacturing. Over the years, the company increased its distillery capacity to 240 KPLD by the end of FY 2018-2019.


The bio compost produced at this distillery unit helped commission Soil Health Lab and mapped 90% arable area to improve yields and incomes.


Being one of Dalmia’s leading sugar plants, this facility has been acknowledged as the best in its class spanning services across sugar, power, and alcohol. 


In the year 2009-2010, Jawaharpur unit won the Collaboration Award for 5S initiatives.


The plant is equipped with modern and state of the art facilities such as VFD, Energy-efficient motors, CFL lighting, LDR Lighting control devices and complete automation has made the Jawaharpur sugar plant achieve the lowest auxiliary power consumption over the years.
